5 Series

BT815 BQT's miPASS suite of Mifare 13.56MHz readers and smart cards opens the gateway to multiple security applications including access control, biometric authentication, IT security, e-purse, e-vending, time & attendance and much more!

The miPASS 5 Series range offers superior security and flexibility through its customisation and encryption options to suit all access control requirements,delivering unrivalled security from the reader to the card.

The 5 Series is designed with a simple installation in mind. It can be installed on flush surfaces and mounted on most international standard gang boxes with the addition of backing plates to meet these standards. The reader is a low-profile, extremely robust and engineered unit built to withstand the harshest of environments.

Ideal for new site installations or security upgrades of existing systems using `Swipe' or `Prox' (125 KHz) card and reader technologies, it offers a cost effective enhancement to your current access control system.

Available in four different models, the miPASS 5 Series range caters for all security requirements large or small, whether your projects are price or functionality driven.


5 Series models

DF815 - DESFire Technology

The DF815 DESFire reader offers 3DES encryption between a DESFire card and reader, delivering the most secure card transaction process available. It can be configured with various output protocols and programmed with customised encryption keys unique to each customer. The DESFire reader meets the TWIC standard for access applications in the USA.

BT815 - Mifare Technology

The BT815 Mifare reader can be confi gured with various output protocols and programmed with customised encryption keys unique to each customer. Also upgradeable with further security enhancements when requirements increase.

miP5 - SPEK Technology

The miP5 reader features miPASS SPEK (Secure Proximity Encryption Keys) for secure transmission between a miPASS card and the reader. A secure, cost effective solution or upgrade for any system. Available in Wiegand output protocol only.

CSN5 - Card Serial Number

The CSN5 reader will read any Mifare Smart Card's unique serial number and is available in 32 or 34 bit outputs.
