Access Control

Monitors intrusion and other userdefined alarm points. The system can be programmed to notify police or security forces. The system can be armed and disarmed by time schedule, card or PIN, or software command from the keyboard.

DVR / CCTV

Cameras respond to valid or invalid access attempts, alarms, and other events. Cameras can be directly controlled by the operator.Live or recorded video can be viewed on the computer screen,or spot monitors.

Photo Imaging & Badging

The windows-based photo-ID systemstores images digitally in the computer and prints directly on graphics quality cards. A single database means that data is only entered once.

Elevator Control

Controls elevators individually or by various authorization levels activated by the card or the operator. Public floors or daytime access is allowed by time schedule without the need for cards orPIN codes. After-hours access can be controlled by card, PIN, or timeschedules.

Building Management

In addition to security functions, SG can control building lighting based on time or conditions, HVAC by occupancy or time, and authorize the use of office machines and monitor temperatures, water leaks, air conditioning failures, and other environmental alarms.

Reports

A wide range of customizable reports can be selected for direct viewing or printing. These include alarm activity, door activity, who’s in roll call reports, all operator actions and changes to databases.

Time and Attendance

Reports attendance of personnel in the facility and number of hours worked.

Graphics

Floor plan graphics show the real time status of all doors and alarm points and their locations within a facility.

SG Software

The operator launches SG’s software from within easy to use windows. Simply point and click, and the selected module is launched or started, if the operator is so authorized.

User Card / PIN Information

Detailed information can be added for each card/PINuser. Miscellaneous data fields can be user defined.The Cardholders Screen is self-explanatory and easy to use.

Time Schedules

A click and drag interface with color coded time intervals makes the time schedule function very easy to use. Any day of the year can be a special day,with its own active/inactive times for each timeschedule.

Access Rules

Defining who can use a door and at what time can be confusing. SG makes it easy. Simply view the appropriate schedule for each door to access point.

Monitor

Real-time monitoring is an especially important security function. Event monitor color coding signifies the relative importance of a message. All messages include date, time, event type, and other information. Door Status shows the current conditionof all doors. Alarm Status shows the condition of all alarm partitions. By clicking on an alarm name, a complete list of alarm points is displayed.

Who’s In

The Who’s In feature provides a real time log of everyone in a facility. Personnel can be shown by selecting specific areas. The report can be displayed or printed and used as a roll call report, an extremely useful function in an emergency situation.

Graphics - Door Commander

Door Commander

The Door Command function allows the operator to control single doors or groups of doors. Operator can pulse, disable or override lock and unlock schedules. Disabling prohibits all access for that door or group of doors. Pulse allows the operator to momentarily unlock an individual door.

Alarm / Input Commander

This function allows the operator to control alarm partitions. Shunt temporarily disables all messages from an input. Service mode removes an input completely from the system until restored. Alarm partitions can be armed or disarmed from the keyboard as well.

Graphics

Floor plans graphically display the status of doors or alarm points in real time. An alarm can trigger a display of a specific graphic and a list of functions for the operator to perform. By clicking on a specific icon, the appropriate commander is invoked.

DVR / CCTV / PTZ Control

DVR / CCTV

Cameras can be activated by access control or alarm functions. If a door is forced oran alarm point activated, the nearest CCTV camera will focus in on the area. This allows the operator to view the event directly, record it and/or display it on the computerscreen. When so configured, the operator can directly control and aim the camera as well.
